I am nearly 69 years old and I have been golfing for roughly 59 years. I am a decent golfer and I was beginning to wonder if I would ever get a hole-in-one.

Well, the wait came to an end on Friday, February 3rd. I was golfing with my wife and a single that had joined us. The 7th hole was 122yds. and I was between clubs. I decided to hit a less-than-full 9-iron. I made crisp contact with my Titleist Tour Soft #1. The shot was on line with the pin and when it hit the green, we saw two short hops. The ball then appeared to stop. Obviously, it was still rolling though, and a moment later ... it disappeared! My wife and our playing partner yelled, "It went in!"

I finally had my hole-in-one!
