I was golfing with my wife Rita and another couple (Tom, Barb Cynkar) in our annual President's Cup Tournament at Maple Leaf Golf & Country Club in Port Charlotte, Florida on Sunday February 5, 2023. We were playing a Shamble format. We got to my toughest hole #6 . It played 172 yards that day. I hit a 5 iron as good as I can, hit the middle of the green and it curled into the hole on the back of the green and we all hollered and jumped up and down to celebrate!! Awhile later as we approached Hole 16 - 123 yards - I pulled a 9 iron and hit it good again and it hit the green and spun right toward the front pin and we couldn't tell it went in until we went to the green because of the angle of the sun. We drove up to the green and sure enough the ball was resting in the bottom of the cup for hole in one #2 for the day and celebrations went on again! What an exciting totally unexpected round of golf!!
