Finally!!!

This past Saturday, 02/25/2023, I finally got the Hole-in-one monkey off my back at Tobacco Road Golf course in Pinehurst, NC, on hole #3. I was feeling a bit of remorse after paying $180 to play this world renowned golf course in 48 degree rain but little did I know that my 35 years of waiting for that elusive hole-in-one was just one swing away. The distance was 157yds so I decided to hit an 8 Iron. Swing was smooth and the ball never left the stick but we couldn't see the cup. All of us knew it was close but we had to wait until we got on the green. Brian walked up to the cup and started hopping like a little bunny, it was in! I finally did it! After the initial celebration, I retrieved my ball from the hole and held it in my hand, feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment wash over me. It was an incredible moment that I'll never forget.
