Hole # 8 @ Falcons Fire near Orlando. 180 yards. Lake in between tee box and green. Wind helping a little so needed about 175 to get it to the back pin location. Took a 6 iron and tried to take just a little off of it. That attempted adjustment resulted in a shot with very low trajectory and high speed (a blade). I began begging for it to hit the hill in front of the green to kill the speed and hopefully run up the green a bit. That it did! In fact, so perfectly that after a couple bounces, rolled and rolled until finally finding the bottom of the cup. 8 people witnessed the unlikely ace. Hopefully my next one will be a little prettier. Like people say, better to be lucky than good! At least itwas that day!!
