Had my first hole-in-one today! Was at Paradise Valley Golf Course 3/30 on hole 15 par 3 106yds. The day was very cloudy/overcast with about 13mph winds. Stepping up into the box we had all the wind in our face. Got the range finder out to shoot it at 106yds with a red flag, decided to club up with a PW to make sure it got there instead of a 52degree. I made sure to tee it up as well, as all I was thinking was " I don't want to leave this short with all this wind blowing at us. Even if the pin is in the front lets just get this on the green." I teed up my ProV1 and made sure I was lined up with the flag. Started with a practice swing to make sure everything felt good from my grip to my feet. It felt good, I was ready to pull the trigger. Stepped up into my shot, peaked at the flag and made sure my club face was as close to the ball as I could get it. My eyes on the back of the ball I slid my club back and came back through the ball with perfect contact. Watching the ball take flight the whole time holding my position hoping it would get there with the wind. It was spinning forward but looked like it was going to be short coming down. The ball was on line to the flag. It finally comes down on the front collar, but I get a bounce with all the forward spin it starts releasing towards the cup. Just watching it go pleading to drop ,"just one time" I am saying to myself. Till finally it makes it home and disappears. I go wild with my golf instructor as I cant believe this happened, tears in my eyes and overjoyed with emotions. After, what seemed like forever of celebrations, we make the walk to the hole. My teacher filming me taking it out of the cup and telling me "congratulations". I will never forget this one, especially with golf instructor Victor H.
