My wife, Gail Fennell got an ace on the 3rd hole at Chesapeake Golf Club in Chesapeake, Virginia on April 11th, our first round of the year. It was 122 yards by the number on her watch before she hit. She hit a 9 iron and it was pure fun to watch! One bounce and about 25 feet of roll and in! We heard it hit the pin and fall in. We’ve been playing 35 years and it’s her first. I’ve never been so happy for anyone.
