I knew Tuesday was going to be a special day. The weather in Michigan was unusually warm, and then my friend Brendan called and said let's golf today. Already having the day off and playing with Brendan made this easy, plus adding in the fact that the weather was perfect and he wanted to play at Cherry Creek Golf Club made it special.

I think we even talked on the second hole about how nice it was to golf.

Then, on hole #3, I teed off first, hit an easy 7 iron with a slight draw, with the wind behind me, to a hole playing 167 yards. The ball landed about six feet in front of the hole and just rolled in. We both knew right away. It was pretty sweet!

We walked up and there it was, the Pro V1 was in the bottom of the cup.
