After finally being able to get out for the first time this season (New England golf struggles), I took a personal day from work to play some golf.

Using a 9 iron from 158 yards out into a upsloping green The contact was pure and was on line with the flag. The hall landed 6 inches behind the pin, bounced twice, and spun back. Hole in One!

At the turn, we went to the clubhouse and the bar was closed, but the course was kind enough to open the bar to sell us drinks.

Couldn’t have asked for a better first hole in one. Here’s to the next 20 years without getting one. See you in 2043.
