Myself and three buddies decided to get in 9 holes at Covered Bridge in Sellersburg, IN after work.

We started on 10 and as you can see from my scorecard, I certainly wasn't playing my best golf leading up to the 17th hole. As I got out of the golf cart, I grabbed my 5 iron without really looking at the yardage and went straight to the tee box and swung away.

The pin location was in the back left of the green. Other than the top of the flag stick, the hole was mostly hidden from the tee box. I knew I had struck it well but did not realize it was a hole in one until we got to the green. I was playing a recycled Titleist Pro V1. My friends and I celebrated the shot when we finally realized what had happened. We got dinner and of course I bought everyone a round of beers as the tradition goes.
