I’ve been thinking about making my first hole in one over the past few months. I’m retired and not getting any younger so I’ve been wondering if it would ever happen. Last Monday, 5/1/23, it did!!! I was playing the Pat 3 16th hole at Cinco Ranch in Katy , Texas. It was 122 yards to a two tiered green. The pin was on the lower left side. I hit a 7 iron and the ball (a Titleist PV 1, #11) hit on the edge of the upper level and slowly started rolling down the slope towards the hole!!! I was thinking and praying as it got closer to the hole. Then it went in and I jumped up and my buddies started yelling with excitement!!!! I now have a hole in one!!!! The ball and the scorecard are on my fireplace mantle!!!
