In Cincinnati Ohio, a young man wakes from a night out with the boys to play at losantiville country club with 3 of my guests for our annual paddlewheel invitational. Members bring 3 guests and plays a best ball vs each, plus a 2 net best per foursome.

We started on #2, my favorite hole on the course. 175 hard par 3 over water, it's our signature hole. I put two in the drink and cracked my second beer.

Fast forward to hole 12, typically a 189 yard par 3 but the tees were up. 152 yards, wind at the back, I hit a 9iron titlest t300 (second season with these bad boys) and I yelled "short and fat you idiot"

My buddy said no, it's gonna be close.

Then it released and bounced two more times, trickles left into the front pin location.

Bourbon and beers, shaking hands and a horrible 96 carded round later we hit the clubhouse.

I hope our hole in one insurance will cover some of that tab. Worth it.

I went out Saturday and shot another garbage round but had 4 pars and 3 birds between the meltdowns. And an epic hangover.
