It was a 2 man scramble and I was playing with my Son-in-Law and we brought my 4 year old Grandson with us. Number 6 at Homer CC in Homer, La. is a 118 yard Par 3 with a slightly elevated green. This was my second time to play this year so being a little rusty is an understatement. I always hit first when I play scramble so I chose a 9 Iron and stepped up to the tee. I hit my Titleist 1 a little thin so it was a low fade and it hit the up slope of the green in front about 5 yards short in the fringe. The ball bounced once and landed up on the green and started rolling towards the pin. I thought it would be in pretty good shape if it didn't roll too far and then they all yelled "It went in the hole". I didn't believe it at first but I couldn't see the ball on the green. Me and my Grandson walked up at saw it in the cup and I had him take it out for me. My little good luck charm. What a feeling and memory.
