On an expected average day, I started bogey, triple bogey and then bogey.
I then stood on the tiny 91 yards 4th tee at Sunbury GC, teed up my ProV1 and with a casual wedge shot, I saw it sail over the protecting bunker, land a few feet short of the hole and roll in!
Having shouted so loud that most of the course must have heard me, I "retired" my pro v1.
The last 15 holes were completed in one over par. The round of 74 was my best this year.
The ball is now waiting to be mounted with the scorecard
