It was a sunny April morning with a great group of friends. 4 of us on the tee box ahead and my group on the par 3, 4th. The first 3 guys took their shots and JP dropped his 5 ft from the pin. "Now you've gotta just get yours closer" he joked, I lined up and swung my Gap like I had done dozens of times on that hole. The ball soared into the air (Lenny cue the piercing trajectory music) I lost it in the sun for a second, heard the thud on the green and didn't see anything else. Assuming it had gone deep into the row of cedars lining the back of the green we made our way to the green. Getting closer and closer the tension built as I saw a divot, one foot in line with the hole. My mind raced as my playing partners told me to go check the hole. I was floored to find my ball nestled in the cup. The best feeling ever.
