Playing in Grumpy Old Men golf tournament. Hit nine iron thin and I was actually afraid the ball might not clear the lake. I saw the ball bounce up onto the green and rolling at the hole. Heard the sound of the pin and Bill Cormack said it went in! We checked with range finders and didn’t find any ball! Got up to the green and there it was glowing in the bottom of the cup! We got to the clubhouse and opened a bar tab. This was a shotgun start so everyone was coming back at the same time. Had a great time telling the story and having beverages with all!
