The hole was 117 yards due to the tee location. Greens were wet with a bit of dew, so I decided to play a Pro v1x I was sent in a ball fitting as I thought the extra spin would help with the wet conditions.

It was a little nerve-racking on the day as we had a comp kicking off with about 20 people waiting on the tee. First two golfers in our 4-ball put it 3 to 4 yards from the pin so the pressure was on.

I played an easy PW in, landed perfectly about a meter behind the pin, skipped forward another meter and then spun back perfectly as I planned. Most of the guys had never seen a hole in one in real life so they wanted to high 5 me.

I felt sorry for the poor guy who played after me in the fourball. Playing after that was impossible. He hit it into the water.
