What a day. From the moment we got on the road to when we arrived it was a great day. As we teed off and looked out toward lake michigan I was grateful and thought wow how cool this place is, an homage to Scotland. As the holes passed one after another and shot after shot I thought how awesome it was that I was here. Then the 17th. I choose my 7iron into a light wind 160 yards up hill, pin near the front. I lined up and let it fly. The fellas I was with said great shot its a good one. When the ball landed with a sleight one hop and disappeared. I turned a said “did that go in”, and no one was sure. My heart went thru the roof as we drove up. As I walked I found myself alone as the boys waited and filmed my approach to the cup. Lone behold their it was in the hole, and staring me in the face my Titleist #1 for my first ever hole in one.
