I hit my first hole-in-one yesterday during the second round of the Club Championships at Sleaford Golf Club in Lincolnshire.

It was an incredibly tough two rounds of golf with winds gusting up to 45mph and heavy rains throughout the two days of golf.

The hole in one was definitely the highlight of the weekend for me as it was on the tough (into the wind) Par 3, 15th hole with 211 yards to the pin.

My Titleist 816H 19 degree Hybrid was the perfect club and I hit a lovely strike, drawing the (Titleist Pro V1) ball in from the middle of the green to the back-left pin position.

It was a lovely celebration amongst our 3-ball and with the other members of the club in the 19th hole afterwards.

It was/is a wonderful feeling!
