  1. We were playing Wild Rock Golf Club in Wisconsin Dells on July 13th 2023, unfortunately Wisconsin was hit with 1.4" of rain over night and this brute of a course became the dreaded..."Cart Path Only". This is a massive course, wide open fairways, inclines on each side that had to be negotiated every shot. We were all quite winded as we approached the #9 Tee. A short 120 yard Par 3. The pin was in the front right, a small hill was behind the hole acting as a backstop. My buddy Bob teed off first, hit his ball right on that hill, it rolled back towards the cup and slid by on the left side. I was next, and decided to try to hit it in the same spot. Pulled my Titleist T300 9 Iron, and teed up my Titleist Tour Soft golf ball marked with a purple JT right under the Titleist logo. I was one of my better strikes at the ball on this day. I hit that hill and it started rolling back, it must have hit the stick and rolled around to the front of the hole, where the stick pined it against the front of the hole. Although I did not see it go in, one of the other guys said, "it went into the hole". As we got to the green, my ball did indeed go in the hole for my second ACE of my life.
