A very lucky shot. 130y par 3, two bunkers in front of the green, flag back left hand corner, a few paces from the back and left with drop offs.

I went with my 9 iron with all intentions of an easy hit onto the middle of the green, didn’t strike it at all well, hit to the top back of the front left bunker, skidded onto the green.

It turned away in disgust and as I was putting my club in the game and muttering that this game called golf is bonkers, the football on the next tee started cheering.

Apparently it rolled left, right then left again, hit the flag and dropped in.

This game is bonkers.
