In 2024 I retired and decided to finally take the time and learn to play golf. I started playing 2 to 3 times per week and took lessons to help as well. Throughout the summer my golf game started to improve from week to week and I was in love with golf. On November 11, 2024 my friend and I were at Royal Oak Golf Course in Royal Oak, Michigan to play one last round in 2024. We came to the ninth hole which was a par 3 at 217 yards. I took out my driver and my Titleist ball and hit a beautiful drive that bounce on the green then I lost sight of it. We drove our cart to the green where we saw my buddies ball just short of the green but mine was no where to be seen so I proceeded to look behind the green thinking it rolled off. No luck finding the ball so I dropped one and putted. As I went to get my second ball out of the cup, I saw my first ball under my second. I yelled I found my ball in the hole, Its a hole in one. It was an unbelievable feeling of joy and excitement. My first ever Hole in One.
