It was a crisp December day in Colorado and as usual, I was looking to golf. My good buddy Ken Franks called me up looking to play a round. My local track that I play all the time was still half covered in snow, so Ken talked me into driving an hour away to play a course down the road from his place. So.... Twin Peaks it was!
After a decent start to the round, we got to hole 7, a 172 yard par 3 playing slightly uphill into a slight headwind. I teed up my ProV1, grabbed my srxn ZX5 7 iron and pured it just left of the flag.
Knowing that I just hit the best iron shot of the day, I just asked for it to "be the right stick, please be the right stick". The ball landed just short and left of the pin, and released right to the hole!
After confirming with my playing partner and the single that was behind us on the previous green, the celebration began!
