Playing in a captains' match yesterday, the 5th hole at Stover had been shortened from the usual par 5 to a 140 yard par 3 to allow drainage works on the fairway to be completed. A nicely struck T200 7 iron saw my ProV1x nestled between the pin and the side of the hole for my 3rd hole-in-one. The hole will return to its normal format in the next few days but will anyone else hole out before it does?
