rust spots

    I have a new studio select squareback and I love it. however after 6 rounds small rust spots are developing. I do put the headcover back on after each green as i carry my clubs and dont want the face banged around. I havent played in the pouring rain but the information i get from the retailer is to leave the cover off when it is possible the putter could get wet. 

    Should it rust?

    How do i get the spots off?

    what do i clean it with?

    I am sorry to hear about the issue with your putter. Please take it to your local authorized retailer and have them contact our warranty department. They will be able to guide you through the process of getting the issue corrected.

    When my Scotty putters have rust on them I actually put them in coke.  I sit them in coke for the night or for about 10-12 hours.
