I got my first Scotty last Christmas and loved it. After about 3 months I noticed a small mark on the top of the blade exactly where you look to line up your putt. Over the last few months it has gradually gotten worse. I kept trying to feel inside my putter cover to make sure there wasn't any sand of a little rock stuck in there but couldn't find anything. Yesterday I started to get very annoyed with the mark on top of my putter and had another look in my putter cover and found there is a hole in the cover and it is scratching the top of my putter as there is not enough fluffy stuff over it. The cover has been taken care of and not treated poorly, just not made well.
To be honest I am very disappointed as these putters are meant to be the mark in workmanship, why is the cover not made well enough to protect to putter, let alone actually damage the finish?
i am starting to hate looking at it, I don't like looking down at it when lining up my putt. dont want the distraction.
is this a common problem with Scotty putters and covers?
sorry to sound like a winger
thanks
Chris
