  1. Hello all! I have been using scotty cameron putters and have started to sort of make a collection. Recently I have been getting a little more into collecting than previous years. I was wondering if you guys had any kind of collection?

My favorite headcover in my collection is the 2008 U.S open in white. My newest purchase for my collection is the brand new christmas one. I have been gaming the same Newport 1.5 for the past 15-18 months and it has been my favorite so far. I was just wondering if you guys had any sort of collection. A few other TT members at the same club have been showing of all of our scotty cameron gear lately and it was very fun!

Happy Holidays to all of the TT members and staff!

  2. Logan...great to hear the news...

Some of us have been collecting these putters for a couple decades so our collection might be a little larger than others but here is my putting room with some of my collection....

Here is a fun putter from the Pins and Playtime Outing last August that Scotty doodled on for me...

Here is a older style putter that I had restored...

I like the new X7M as well....just sent mine back to the custom shop to be blacked out similar to this (also included a doodle that Scotty did on some paper to illustrate his inspiration for the putter):

I decided to black out also the Golo 5 and Golo 6 1st of 500's from my collection earlier this year...this is how they turned out:

I also include a variety of things in the collection aside from putters such as headcovers and bags...

Looking forward to seeing some other collections, newer and older...whatever...post some pics!

    Chris

Sweet collection Chris!  I've just recently started collecting Scotty items, so my collection is still quite small.  I'm hoping to add a putter or two in the next year, but I've put a hold on my buying until I finish my office/golf room in my basement.  I'm hoping that maybe this will motivate me to finish the cleaning and construction that is still left to do.

  4. Hi guys I too have started my Collection. Received a Putter Display Stand as an early Christmas present.

My collection will be more of a off the rack collection, wont get my hands on any Tour stuff. Ill post pictures soon when its up on the wall. So far I have:

Newport , Newport 2 , Studio Design, Del Mar, Pro Platinum, Studio Style Newport 2

    Great collections above guys

Chris - Glad to see how the blacked out putters turned out.  I have been thinking about doing that myself.  One question that you may know.  If you have a putter customized with an inscription does it decrease the value from a collector's standpoint?

Chris love the collection. I have had a couple of Scotty Cameron putters when I played in high school. Ended up selling it to help pay for textbooks. Last summer I bought a studio select newport and I am glad I did. I also started to collect some stuff but since I am in college funds are limited. Once I finish school I hope to start being able to grow my collection to look like those above one day.

Hi Steve, I would say an inscription almost always decreases the putter's value.  You'd have to find the right buyer.  Stamps and colors usually add to the putter's value, but IMO, being in great condition (and close to original condition) is the best thing you can do for resale.

Steve, I would say it would decrease the value unless it was from a famous golfer or celebrity...

    IMHO, Chris

Chris, That's a heck of a collection! I have six Cameron putters, but with the prices skyrocketing, I don't know how many more I will be able to purchase.
