    Hi All

I'm currently using a Notchback Scotty putter but I do tend to struggle with it from 12 feet and in.  I've been on a SAM putting machine and I have a slight arc to my stroke.

I have a rival manufacturers mallet style putter and I'm undoubtedly better with it from shorter distances but I hate the look and feel of it....!!!

So, my thinking is to go down the mallet route with Scotty Cameron.  I love the look of the Futura X5 range but so many people have said to me they will only suit a straight back and through stroke which I do not have.

Although not strong, my stroke does have a slight arc to it - any recommendations?

    thanks

All the Futuras are designated "minimum (face balanced). I have a -5 (face balanced) but with some changes I now have more arc. My local AFC is also a SC Showcase so I'm going to see if one of the "near minimum" options in Golo and Select will be a better option to my current swing path. Being LH, my choices are Fastback and Golo-5. You have to go with what suits your eye and what feels best from 3, 10, and 20 feet. You can see how Scotty designates them from the Titleist home page -> clubs -> SC putters, and find the specs at the bottom of each group.
