Has anyone gone to Cameron's Putter studio to get fitted for a putter? I am contemplating doing it, but looking for some first hand insight. I've recently been down to the tour facility to get fitted for irons, wedges and driver/woods.

I was there last year for a fitting. I brought 2 of my own Scotties. It was very informative and technically fitting. I have been fitting a few times at Titleist Oceanside and other places for clubs but never a putter. It ended up being a little more of a lesson and technical theories about the putter and putting. In the end we cut down my putters, changed weights and put a new (smaller) grip.

In retrospect I really liked it. I would go back. Very informative. I am a better putter now.

Dan, it's an amazing experience. I was fitted by master fitter Spencer and he spent 2 full hours showing me all the fundamentals of the art of putting in their state of the art putting studio. Run down there as fast as possible. It will change your game! Good luck!

Thanks Jay and Vurich. I would be buying Scotty on top of the fitting, so the $ started to add up and wanted to make sure it was beneficial. Will they do all the work there/Can you buy putters that aren't rack putters for them to tweak? What is the level of customization?

You can buy custom Cameron Tour creations which will set you back thousands of dollars. They are one of a kind, collector works of art. They do basic re-gripping, cutting down shafts, etc., but they do not have off the rack putters or customizing as far as I know from the last time I was there a few months ago. You have to order from an authorized dealer or buy off the rack and send it to the custom shop. Good luck, Dan!
