I am thinking about getting a new scotty cameron putter and I would like to get your advice/feedback.

    I just got fitted for a new set (915 D2, 816 H1 19+23, 716 AP1 5-pw, SM5 48+54+60) and I really don't know what to expect in terms of fitting for a putter.

Until now I always bought my putters based on the way it looks and feels. I would try it at the putting green and buy it based on that.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you. Filipe

You can look up from this site the addresses of Cameron Showcase studios. I have found yet again to trust a PGA professional. I've always used a mallet and maybe I've adjusted my swing, but I recently had a putting evaluation/fitting and a Newport style blade w/plumbing neck is the best style for me now. It is really more comfortable for mid-range putts.

    Thanks Don.
I've always used a mallet (odyssey white hot #9) but this time I wanna make sure I am getting something that fits me/my game.
After all the putter is the club we use the most and sometimes we don't really pay enough attention when getting it.

    Hi Filipe,

Looks and feel are actually really important. Here's a good article in case you missed it.

I'm in a similar situation. I've had a trusty png Anser 2 for years but my touch with it is less consistent. Off to get fitted next week and planning on upgrading to a Scotty Cameron.. We will see what the pro says.
