    I just got a Scotty Futura X putter with 20 grams of weight I like a heavier putter I'm wondering if 20 grams will be good in that regard

    The futura x is a heavier head naturally and 20g is decently heavy. If you think you want heavier tinker around with some lead tape or add a counter weighted grip which will add to the total weight

    The futura X has weights on the sole and on the top back part of the putter. It comes standard with 20 on top and 10 on the sole. Weighting also depends on the length of your putter...what length are you playing?

    Agree with Chris, length is a key factor. Scotty Cameron marries up weights with length to give a consistent feel and response. If you add more weight you might be trading off more swing inertia for less feel.
