  1. I got a scotty cameron circa 62 model no.3. Love the putter to death and i have tried everything under the sun in terms of putters. my question is whether anyone here has any experience adding a sight/guide line to help align the putter to the ball. Just want to test it out on that putter so im not looking for a permanent customization just yet. I was thinking about some kind of heavy binding sticker or something along those lines that wont interfere with the overall quality or feel of the putter. Thanks

Try finding some 3M Striping tape (check an autoparts store). You can get it in a variety of colors and as thin as 1/16". Best part, it's not permanent.
  3. thanks barry.. will try it out asap..
  4. I used red electrical tape cut thin back in the day worked fine and lasted long

I'm like Jeff. I've used electrical tape (red or blue) to mark my area. Another thing you could try is borrow your wife or girlfriend bright colored nail polish and mark it.

    Good luck
  6. unfortunately i checked with my girlfriend and the brightest nail polish she has is pink which might get me some verbal abuse on the course. But what the hell if it works it will "silence the haters". ill make sure to test it out on an empty putting green first before the course.. Thanks Jeff

its like putting florescent paint on your front gun sight. Sink in the long ones and start putting well will keep the naysayers quiet.......

It don't matter as long as it gets in the hole in the least amount of strokes....

I used a sharpie to add an additional line to the top of my Newport 2. I'm actually going to sbe no it in to have the line added but the sharpie allowed me to test it!

Same as above... I'm more of a sight dot person so I've used sharpie to add the dots to my putters when trying them out.

On a side note...I have a Circa 62 #3 as well and it was only benched to preserve the beauty. Absolutely AMAZING putter and still searching for a decent second so that I can game.
