  1. Hi, so basically I use scotty cameron select newport 2 notchback dual balance putter. I've been playing fairly well with it but just feel I need to cut it down and inch or so and re-grip to a smaller grip. I'm not too sure if this would affect the weighting but would it work out if I add heavier weights to the putter. I'd rather feel the club head more than feel the more of the grip. Any suggestions? Cheers.

  2. The shaft is a bigger diameter than normal so you may have some issues depending on the grip you choose.

I cut mine to 33" and had zero issues putting an aftermarket grip on there. Great project as it plays like having a Newport 2.7 with deep milling in the 2014 Select line.
  4. I did the same thing and it turned out great. Mine is cut down to about 32.5" and I put a white XL Scotty Cameron grip on it. The extra weight in the head helps to keep it on line.
