Putter cover rack

    So I had a bunch of putter covers, most of them Scotty, most of those Hula Girl. I wanted to display them so I looked on the interwebs for putter cover racks. I saw some nice ones, some expensive ones. I decided I could make something that would do the job, albeit a little spartan.

    Anyway, one recycled 1"X10" pine shelf, $6 in 1/2" dowel, some spray paint that was sitting in my garage for 10 years and about $12 worth of Command Velcro picture strips later this is what I got:

    I like that. I, too have been collecting covers for many years and have been trying to figure out how to display them - maybe rotate in new covers every so often. Thanks for the idea!

    I have been collecting Scotty headcovers for a while also, but they are just sitting in a box. I would love something like this to display them...Also, how can I convince my wife to let me hang it on the wall??? LOL

    Thanks. Mine were all sitting on a shelf....figure they are more or less art work and I do use most of them. Every other week I rotate a different one in.

    As far as hanging it on the wall...it's light enough for a bunch of Command strips so no holes in the wall. I used 12 strips that are supposed be rated for 4lbs.

    I don't know why the picture is rotated 90deg. Oh well.

    Very cool...great to see them out of their bags and on display....get a gaming rotation going....it's what they were made for after all.

    I just bought 4 more covers to fill the 3 empty spots...4 for 3 you ask?? Well, I need one on the putter...right??
