I have been on both ends of the spectrum when it comes to types of putters, using a Newport 2 and a Futura 6m. I was trying to decide what I like about both putters and I like the weight of the Futura, which helps my swing path, but I have more confidence and like the look of the Newport. So, I decided to send in my putter to the custom shop to get some new weights put in, and also get my initials and get it painted while I'm at it. My question is, what weights will get me close to the same weight as the Futura, without it becoming so heavy I cant control the speed of my putts?
