  1. I live near Manchester UK I'd like to be fitted for my first SC I'm thinking on newport 2 terillium But don't know where to go.

  2. Check online on ScottyCameron.com for new or check eBay but be careful because there are a lot of fakes! Good luck and I hope you get what you want.

The fitter will be to put you in the right putter. Follow his/her lead. With respect. Cheers. =)

As Chuck has mentioned, follow the lead of the fitter, sometimes you might come out with a completely different head shape than what you imagined you would get.
    Best of luck.

I've had my X-5R for 6 years now. Have tried some others since and there's nothing better.
  8. RPeach,
You can see/feel/touch/admire the latest models at Clubhouse Golf on Eccles New Road. Scottsdale Golf is also well within your area (Cross Street, Sale, M33) and carry a stock of Scotty putters.
If you want fitting, both of these are Titleist Surefit Fitters and you can find more options under the "Fitting" heading at the top of this page.
There are other opportunities not too far away from you if you can travel.
If you want more info, reply to this post.

  9. RANDOM THOUGHTS FROM A FAIRWAY BUNKER

In my experience the type of putting stroke you have or need is critical. Blade putters more often require an inside to down the line stoke for best results. However, this takes a considerable amount of practice to deliver effectively on every putt. Unless you're a single digit handicap a blade may not be your best choice.

Mallet style putters only require a straight back, straight through stroke. Easier and more reliable in lowering your number of putts per round. And that means PAY ME on the 19th hole. lol

  10. I think you will love having a Scotty in your bag. As age has creeped up on me, I have been through a Newport 2.5, an early Futura (looks like a potato masher), and now a Phantom X 12. Can't see not having one.

    Good luck in your pursuit.
