Problems regarding Scotty Cameron Putter Cover

  1. I recently bought a Golo 6 and immediately put it in the bag. After only 10 or 15 rounds, the putter cover looked like it was plucked from the trash. It has huge holes and scratches all over it. I am honestly so disappointed about the whole situation. I have owned and used many Scotty's and have never come upon this problem before. Can anyone tell me what's going on, and if there is any possible way to fix this putter cover?

Did you buy the putter new or was it used? If used maybe the cover is not authentic. If it was me I’d reach out to Scotty Cameron directly.

Sounds like the putter cover is doing it's job. Think about what your putter would look like if you didn't have that cover on it.

Make sure you’re buying from a certified dealer. lots of counterfeits out there… but either way, if it works use it!

Not sure how the handling of the cover has been, but that's not a pleasant thing to see. I have six different Cameron Covers that I game, and only one has been dinged up, and that's mostly from being in the bag over two seasons, and being dropped. I've been very cautious with others and they are still in great shape.
Also, as stated above, if this was bought second hand, I am curious if it may be a knockoff. I've seen plenty around courses to know they are very prevalent.
  6. This doesn't sound like a real cover ... it has the characteristics of counterfeit unfortunately.....

You never know, it could just be a bad cover in the mix that is authentic...regardless contact Titleist customer service.

  7. I have never had any issues with SC covers. I rotate 2 or 3 depending on the round.
