Does anybody know if Titleist will allow any variation when ordering a putter? I've been playing another older brand (rhymes with MaylorTade Slider) that comes with no alignment marks and really like that. Would really be interested in getting something like the Phantom X11 or X12 without any alignment dots, lines, etc. Just a clean blank top surface. I know it would be a big hit on the tour as well.

  2. Just wondering if you can order a Scotty Cameron putter with the circle t logo on it?

Circles t are not just for pro’s..but You definitely cannot order a circle t on a retail sc.
You can purchase circle t putters on Wednesdays on SC’s site. Buuuut be prepared….they sell maybe 3-5 putters extremely limited quantity (like one each) and they are quite pricey!!!! Once the phtter are oosted online they sell out in leterally seconds…also the Cheapest you will see is $2,500…avg is probably $4k. Iv e seen $6k.

Only loft and lie ... I have a couple of Newport 2s (gamer and backup) and I sent them back to have the alignment line made "raw" so that it blends in with the putter (the line is still there but not black) and I added a dot.

The other way to do this is to buy a Scotty, then send it to the Custom Shop with specific instructions. But, this is fairly pricey. You'd really have to want a specific layout. I'm not sure if you can ask to remove sightlines or dots, but you can ask to ADD them (or a 'beaching' slot in the sole).

It is possible to get some customization other than loft/lie as well. I requested non-standard length (34 1/2") and heavier head (they would only be able to add 5 gm to each weight for a Phantom X 7), but every bit helps me out. Between the extra 1/2" and the 10 gm, it's pretty good. Now, let's see if I can actually get the sphere into the vertical cylinder ...

Just got an email for the new TM Spider with an option to order custom set-ups. I want that option from Titleist!!!

I like the idea of customizing my putter and for SC the custom ship is that. If you want to change the finish there are other places that will do that to scottys. The custom shop will not only do paint fill, certain stamps, grips, bands and head covers, but they will also change weights, length, loft and lie.

Now I do like the idea of not having to buy and then send back but have the option to buy direct from SC with your personal options. Maybe they will do something like Vokey has done in the future.
  9. You can do some additions for changes on Scottycameron.com in their custom shop once you send in putter. check it out...there may be some things there for you...

    Hi,
I have an older SC 2.5 left handed. It appears that the new version with the small slant neck is not made in left handed. Does anybody know if it will ever be made in left handed?
Any chance I can get some custom made? I will buy the minimum required if it could be made in left handed.
    Thank You!
  11. Also, you can adjust loft, lie and length if you order your putter off of Titleist.com

    Cheers,
    Chris
