  1. Got this a while back and assumed it was real as looks good and feels good (similar to other headcovers of the era), but from looking at the archive from 2007 it looks off. Wondering if it is a straight up fake or a different version? Doesn't have holes for pitch mark repairer and smiles different too from what online.

Tough to tell honestly. The AM&E tag make me want to believe it’s authentic, the missing pitch tool slot makes me question it. The smiles match up pretty well, I’d venture to say it’s authentic.

I agree with Cole. Since it's missing the Pivot tool slots I would think this is a fake.

I’ve seen a bunch of fakes but never the smiley face. Can not definitely say real but would lean towards authentic

There are a lot of great looking fakes our there that are made by AM&E and it is very difficult to tell the difference.
The divot slots are not on all of the headcovers so that would not be a disqualifier. From looking at the inside of the headcover suspect that it could be a fake.

If I had the headcover in front of me I could tell you in about ten seconds.

Appears to be a good fake. Sometimes it is hard to tell.

Id say if half the people are split between real or fake..... throw it on the putter and rock it with pride. If we cant tell, Im pretty certain anyone at your local course wont be able to tell. Sharp looking head cover, roll em straight.

It is easy to tell if you know what you are looking for. If I had a better picture of the inside of it I could verify if fake or real.
  10. Good fake it appears
