Phantom X 5.5- 30gram weight?

    I have used a Scotty Cameron Newport 2 for many years...I went to a putter fitting at Club Champion...Based on fitting I decided on a Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5.5...In order to help stabilize my stroke the fitter recommended 30gram heel/toe weights...After using it for a few months seems a bit heavier than I want and miss out on feel...I would like to try little lighter weights maybe 20 grams but I know it is a bit of a process to go thru in order to get different weights for the putter...Any Team Titleist members have a similar experience, thoughts or recommendation? Thanks. Paul

    I have the 7.5 custom heavy with 15 gram weights.
    It feels really light compared to my 6M.
    Went to the Cameron Gallery and they Installed 25 gram weights to make it closer to the 6M in swing weight.
    Funny thing is that feels heavier than the 6M. My next move is replacing the grip to see if that helps.

    Experiment with the Grip before ordering a bag full of weights.
    A good club builder should be able to save your grip to re install if it does not feel right.
