Buying a new putter

    Has anyone ordered a putter straight from titleist lately ? Not even a custom one, just a putter with regular specs.

    If anyone has lately, do you know how long it usually takes them to ship one? I ordered a Newport last week and minus getting the order number, I haven't received anything else about the order yet. I know supply chain issues have been causing a backup pretty much everywhere

    Custom specs or not, they all go through custom orders. Most larger online stores have them in stock so if you don't need custom specs you might be better off getting one there.

    I ordered mine through Golftown in the Spring, the X 9.5 and had it within 3 weeks. I had them put a mid-size Matador grip on it. Otherwise, it was nothing special.

    No, I do not order custom putters. I normally purchase mine thru my local Titleist dealer. They usually have a good supply of SC putters on hand and usually stick with the Newport 2.
