  1. Hello, I have an older Scotty Cameron Teryllium Newport 2 and I'm looking for a new grip. The studio design grip is sold out online, does anyone have an idea where I can track one down? I know there is an issue with counterfit putters, maybe I should just ask the custom shop...

Any ideas are welcome, thank you.

As much as I hate to say it or point towards the scalpers, have you checked eBay? Unfortunately, if want a scotty grip, that's about the only place you're going to find one unless you want to send the putter to the customer shop. I have sent a few of my Scotty's in for custom paint and new grips. They always come back looking great but be prepared to be without your baby for a few months. Especially now since I think the custom shop is shut down for break and not reopening until late spring. Good Luck.
  3. Keep an eye on the Scotty site, last week they had grips (not the one you are looking for though, I also want that one), and today they have gray headcovers. They seem to be getting things closer to normal, so hopefully the other grips will come back soon! There are a number of Scotty FB groups where people sell grips, but usually double or more retail price.

Custom shop would be your best choice. Of course there is eBay, but then you take your chances.

I think the Nevada’s Bobs in Asheville has several different Scotty Cameron grips in stock. Original and new designs. Their number is (828) 274-5374.
This shop is awesome and always have a great selection of Titleist clubs, gear and Footjoy shirts. Staff will help anyway they can. I try and stop when passing through.

I recently tried to order a Scotty grip (Matador medium) for one of my customers directly through our Titleist dealer account and was surprised to hear that one was actually available. When I heard that, I asked about a larger diameter version of the same grip for myself, since mine was falling apart due to the tight fit of the oversized end sliding into my bag thousands of times over the last year. Surprisingly, that one was also available. I ordered both. Mine came about a week later, while it took a few weeks for my customer's to arrive. Paid the regular dealer cost and sold the other one to our customer for the standard MAP Scotty price ($38?), far less than they sell on Ebay. And, best of all, we know that both our new grips are authentic.
