Well, in Cleveland the wind chill is 1 degree, so my outdoor golf game is over for this year. My thoughts turned to golf and golf courses - specifically Par 3's/Executive Courses. When I visit my best friend in Phoenix, I play what I think is one of the finest - Mountain Shadows. It just recently went through a total redesign, and has a signature boutique hotel added. It is just as tough as a normal course, as it is manicured and kept up like one, at the base of Camelback Mountain. They also have a 17 1/2 hole --- only for putting to settle bets before the end of a round. No one in my family works there, I don't have any stake in the course, just putting it out there as a really exceptional test of your short game.
I have also played the cally Par 3 in Vegas 3 times (I think now it is a Taylor Made course).
Have any other TT members experienced a similar memorable Par 3/Executive Course? It seems like when they are good, they are really memorable. I await your responses in the lake effect snow of Northeast Ohio!
