I am not quite sure if this is the right forum for my comments.
I am a brand new golfer. My daughter and I just started to take lessons through a veterans organization called the GIVE Foundation. Golf for Injured Veterans Everywhere. The foundation gave us a brand new set of golf clubs. They are made by Wilson. Its a great beginner set. It seems to me that all golf clubs have the same degree angle. For example a six iron; it seems that all six irons have the same degree angle. If this is true then the only difference would be the shaft-metal versus carbon fiber. So why are there so many price points on metal shafts and on carbon shafts? It do not understand why an iron set costs $500.00 when an entire set- irons, woods, pw, sw and putter with golf bag costs $380.00? I don't understand. I am missing something, but I don't know what. Also, what is the difference between a Titleist club versus a Wilson or cally club or is it just brand preference? Thank you for your help.
