Hello fellow Team Titleist members -

I visited Ball Plant 3 this past Monday and all I can say is, wow. Being in NH, New Bedford, MA is not that far away. Hitting some Boston traffic to get to the plant is par for the course (it wasn’t as bad as I expected).

The 90 minute tour walks you through the creation of ProV1, ProV1x, and AVX. Our tour guide was amazing, attentive, and passionate about the process. From the onset, I could tell that Titleist lives by their mission to make the #1 Ball in golf. I was very impressed with the quality checkpoints. I even learned that only cosmetic rejects make it to the shelf at a reduced rate (you’ll never see a rejected ball that could impact play on the shelf). This was a great thing to learn.

Obviously stopped at the gift shop and spent by golf accessory allowance. Bought a coffee cup, FJ TT pullover, T-shirt, a hat and ball marker.

If you have the opportunity, take it. You’ll appreciate the steps Titleist takes to make sure golfers at any level are playing with the best equipment available.
