Does anyone know if Titleist is expected to release a balck version of the new T100 irons as they did with 718 AP line? I know it won't be with the initial release on 8/30 but would like to hold off for the balck version if they are expected. Thanks

If the past is any indicator it will be awhile (AP1's took some time). They probably want to see how they sell 1st. Just mt 2 cents

Inquiring minds want to know? Let's not put the cart before the horse. A lot of new irons to get out first. Am sure they will send us an email when they do a release as they normally do. With respect.

Titleist is still working off the buzz with the new release, as Chuck mentions. The black AP-2/AP-3 came out for the 2019 release cycle for the 718's.. My wild guess is the custom option (black) generates buzz when all the annual OEMs are releasing their new and improved marketing wonders. Titleist did something similar in the 716 cycle with AP-1's. IF I was a betting person, I would not bet on them before March of 2020 and possibly late 2020. Unlike golf shirts, new clubs should be able to build on the last release with adequate development time to flush out ideas that don't pan out. Hoping Titleist doesn't fall into the planned obsolescence of a yearly release - but they do need buzz to compete.

Nobody knows what the great people of Titleist has in the pipeline except those in the pipeline. If there's a product on the market you have a passion for, buy it and enjoy. Something new is always coming out.

I love my full set of T-MBs, but if they launch black T-100's in 2020, it'll be hard not to pull the trigger on those!
