78 at Yale..the weather was amazing this time of year. They just had the college McDonalds tourney and found a few ivy league pro v ones as well as a green read sheet, very cool to be out there in those conditions.

Yep, played Saturday in a little light rain and cool weather. First signs of Fall for San Diego. They punch the greens today so probably not playing very much before my overseas trip next weekend.

Yes - Padeswood & Buckley in North Wales. Avoided the rain - it lashed down as soon as we came off and it's still giving it pelters!!
Didn't score particularly well but had some fun with my irons. Chipping and putting was in and out, blowing hot and cold with alarming speed.
I find Autumn a difficult time to play well. Courses are just as long as summer but no run and greens are not evenly paced. Still, out in the fresh air and enjoying some decent shots is good enough for me.

Managed to get a quick 9 in at Goat Hill Park this morning!
The GOAT is looking fantastic at the moment!!!
I believe they will be punching greens next month.

I played too, rough day for me. Hoping to turn it around for my golf trip to san diego this weekend.

Didn't get to play, but I was at the course at 5:00am. Everything's aerated, seeded, fertilized, and top dressed. The course hasn't looked this good since early June. Hopefully tomorrow after work!

Played today and with a high of 92, so it seems like fall might not be here for a while. Played well and shot a 78. The ball was flying in the warm temps and the greens were rolling really nice. I like fall golf with cooler temps, but I don't mind playing in the heat either.

Played with my sr men's rascals group today. Struggled for an 82 with the double bogey blues. Was paired with a slow foursome today. At least got to play.

Played on Sunday first tee time at taylor meadows, didnt score well, I have not played on over a month, had a lot trouble withe the stiff back, couldnt chip, shot on the mid 90s with a couple pars, still a great day out with my buddies and my son.

83 today... but try and get in at least 9 holes in everyday...doctors orders. So by staying active it has kept my game somewhat steady. But some days the wheels come off of my game and I have to go back to the drawing board(driving range).

Chilly start in San Diego!

Played practice round for a tournament we will be playing at the Redbank Course yesterday. Two triples and crawled in with an 81. Great greens and course was empty. T300s performed extremely well, so did the indian on some shots. A number of putting issues. Finally figured it out on the back nine. 94* and holding. Heading out to Durham on Sunday for two days of golf with an old friend who use to be a member of Dunes West here. Temps to be in the low 80s and mid 70s. Awesome.

Played on the 30th. 89 in very windy conditions. Flew the green 4 times. Putting was inconsistent. Made 3 long ones, missed too many short ones.

sigh Normally our falls are sunny and the fairways hard. Currently in a monsoon season that has been hanging around since Labor Day. The WSGA had an event at Blackwolf Run - The Meadows coming on Monday. They canceled today because the Sheboygan River is over its banks. I haven't gotten 18 holes in at one time since the TT Invitational, aside from a charity best ball scramble in the rain Sunday after Labor Day.

Got 36 in today, started in the mountains and ended at the beach!
