I have the day off from work and planning to get out and play 18. The plan is to take a buddy that hasn’t played in years. He’s been wanting to get out and try to pick it up again. Hopefully he’ll enjoy himself and I’ll have a playing partner. The solo rounds are peaceful but it’s nice to share a stroll or ride around 18 with a bud.

Had a great time out there today. Even though the greens were just punched on Monday we didn’t let that become too much of a distraction. Shot only my second sub-80 round of the year, a solid 77. More importantly, I helped my buddy cure his struggles with the driver that have been plaguing him for the last several months. Just in time for our trip to St. Andrews. Perfect weather today too. So lucky to be living in the San Diego area these days.

I did play Friday and Sunday and will again today. Happy golf day every day.

I spent Friday in a simulator. It was a little cold and I didn't feel like hitting outside. Our golf days in Michigan are slowly coming to an end.

Celebrated national golf day by doing a two day Ryder cup match between my home course and a nearby one. First day best ball,?second day,alternating shots. First day- My partner and I lost on the 17th hole shot 81. Second day , we won on the 17th shot 77. Good golf,good food,good beer ! No cup this year.
