I would say a big 'thank you' to Titleist Customer Support! Why? Well let me tell you.
Half a year ago i bought as the youth leader in our former golf club 25 Titleist Hybrid 5 Bags (Mod 2019) for our young players. 5 of those bags our mens team player could get for personal use by paying a small fee for them. However we decided to putt the club logo on the ball pocket cover. So far nothing special.
BUT....a few month later i left the club and due to the fact that i payed for the bag i was for sure allowed to take it with me. But hey, who want´s to play in a new club with a bag and a logo from the old one? Well i think only a few of us. ;-).
I searched the internet (ebay, amazon, titleist....) to find a replacement cover for the ball pocket...but without success! Without much hope i contacted the Titleist Customer Support with my question and received the answer that is is not a problem to get a new cover. i only have to go to a Titleist Reseller and they can order it for me. What i didn´t told you so far is that i am not living in the States, i live in Germany. So my Titleist Store told me that Titleist US is not Titleist Europe and in Europe there are no replacement parts available for Bags and other Stuff.
So i again send an email to the Titleist CS and explained this mess. But no chance to send the spare part to germany. :( BUT....luckily my wife spend a three week roadtrip through california with starting point Las Vegas. So i was told so lead my wife to a golf store in Vegas to place there a order. So she left the plane moved to the golf store in Vegas and ordered it. Obviously without knowing a concrete price. :-D. After 3 Weeks, one day before her plane would start back to germany she again entered the store to pickup the spare-part.
for me 2 important things happened. First Titleist send it with the remark "no cost" and second i again can use my beloved Titleist Bag without any bad mood about the old club logo.
It tooks a long journey for the ball pocket cover to make my bag looking great again but now everything is fine and i am more than happy!
THANK YOU TITLEIST :)
Cheers,
Ben
p.s. well i know that the german market is way to small to sell spareparts also in europe/germany but nevertheless i am more than happy now :)
