Id love to know what Team Titleist has planned going forward. Social media, apps, contenting? I like the forums and they are good but you're either attached to a computer or the browser on your phone in which case usage of the full site is limited. Id love to see it be made easier to get involved on the go. IMO the forum system is dated and dying out. This is where social media comes into play or even an app (mewe) something, anything. I may be alone in my thinking here. I get that Titleist is seen as the more mature/players brand and thats part of the draw to it, I just feel its not as connected as other brands are.

My point is Ive noticed a decrease or lack there of in content recently, The TT Ig page is basically non existent it refers you to the main Titleist page. Most of whats posted there is marketing or ads. I dont see much interaction with the fan base like before. I saw they posted an ad to fill the position but since that day. people are starving for Titleist content. Take that as a compliment. Where there is a need, theres room for improvement. Some other companies have tour van guys or reps filling that need. They're exploding! Are there any plans to fill that void?

Let's discuss what you would like to see moving forward. Thank you Mike

    I'd love a Titleist app.
I'd prefer to be on here, but it's too antiquated to be any fun. Frankly, I've pretty much given up on the website and follow in Facebook. Wait 24 hours for a reply, never get any notifications, half the time the keyboard stays up after you post something. And the Captchas... not fun and relaxing.
The Facebook version is nice, but the nature of the medium is too distracting (Look! A cat video!) to be a place to relax and enjoy all things Titleist.
An app would be a tremendous improvement, for sure!

I couldn't agree more, I just feel this platform while it serves the purpose is just outdated. Id like to see Titleist as a brand could really step it up. Imo since Abby left the interaction has suffered.

I am trying to understand what advantage it would be to have an App? Guess it would act as a shortcut to a select set of content on the website like the "shop my Titleist" page that we could get to easier on our phones? If just to add an unfiltered messaging stream like the app "Nextdoor" or what our own closed community Facebook has become, I would question the value over the cost. The Facebook group has gotten so large that the interaction is frequently becoming borderline offensive and sometimes attacking. I like the fact that this controlled medium is much more well-behaved, respectful, and focused more on specific questions, needs, and relevant content. My opinion anyway.

I agree with Dale, I don't do Twitter or Facebook because of the way things start turning into personal instead of quality for everyone. This forum is really informative & special as people treat each other as family. I like that.

I can see your point Dale, I will agree that the facebook group has gotten big, also i have seen exactly what you mean by attacking. Id like to see more interaction per social media. Im not sure if you IG but some other brands such as TM & cally have certain employees that run their pages and interact with the public in which ever way they choose, giveaways, contests or let people whats coming, whichever. I just think that the forums are beyond slow and ancient. Waiting for comments or topics to post? Information is beyond fast and this process just takes forever. Just my two cents. I dont interact half as much on this site as any other type of media.
Have you ever tried to access this site from your phone? What was your experience? In my experience its annoying and a pain to navigate.

I just wish Titleist would release anther app that they had a few years ago that you could keep up with your stats, Titleist products, and players. Maybe with the new one they could add the Team Titleist feature to it and allow people to add comments and just monitor it and remove negative comments that become personal and if the person continues to make those type of comments block them!!! I just miss the Titleist app I used to have on my phone. Please bring it back, Titleist!!!!!!!

I am fairly new to the site (activity-wise), but I enjoy the site just the way it is. Then again, I am not a huge app guy and typically prefer to go straight to the site on my laptop or iPad, rather than my phone.

A subreddit on reddit wouldn't be a bad idea. Its a lot easier to navigate, post, reply etc. Pretty sure the forum control still falls under the Titleist admins. Mobile friendly as well.

I see your reasoning Michael, and agree with some of your concerns. But, I also agree with Dale about many of his concerns. Somewhere in the middle would make me happy.

I love the TT community, but as you say, it is very slow for any real-time interaction with other players, which I enjoy in other forums, unfortunately not necessarily Titleist players. Sometimes days go by before any responses to a member's question gets posted, though there may be 10 replies to the question waiting for a moderator's approval. Then they all get released to the boards at the same time and often the answers are redundant. (How many answers of "Get a certified fitting," are needed?) It's why I don't reply to many questions that have obvious answers. It can get frustrating.

At the same time, I understand Titleist's need to protect their brand every way they can. And being in an image business myself my entire career, I can definitely see how leaving the boards unfiltered could possibly have a negative affect on the brand over time. Concern for the promotion of other brands, be it intentional or simply in conversational form, is surely something Titleist does not want on their forums. The last thing they need is people talking about a great new iron or ball from some other manufacturer on the Titleist site. So this is why they must monitor and approve postings. And, of course, for profane or offensive comments. That kind of talk doesn't fit with the top-shelf (truly deserved) image of Titleist either.

What they need in my opinion is some sort of oversight application attached to their forums application, which does the work of what the moderators do now, freeing them up to do their regular jobs at Titleist. As far as I know, the moderators for these boards have a lot more important things to worry about in their day-to-day work at Titleist. Having to drop everything to review and make sure 50 new posts are all acceptable for the TT boards before noon is likely something they'd like to have off their plates.

I'm not an IT guy, but there must be an app they can use/build to monitor the posts electronically. Then ask us as TT members to police it ourselves and let them know if anything that is questionable gets through the filter, at which time they can take it down immediately. I'm sure there's more to it than that, but I'm just throwing it out there. Forgive my (admitted) ignorance.

I know it's not the mobile app you are looking for Michael, but it's a step towards more real-time interaction.

I'd like to see a community rather than the message board style forum we have currently. I don't have social media, but making this more like that would be good. I'd love to interact with these fine members more.

I like the forum as it is now. Makes it seem like a great bunch folk's helping others with information and opinions. Help when you ask for it and positive responses.

Sometimes, I do wish it was easier to use, but easy is not always better.

Does this mean I have to wait a day or so to see a reply sometimes, It's ok by me. I do not want to see a negative board with personal attacks depending on one person's opinion. As they say, one rotten apple...

Also, I feel like I'm part of something special. Not one in ten million.

I have no problem if Titleist feels like adding an app and may use it, but like what has already exists.

    Thanks and happy holidays all!
