Finally.....Fitting / T200

    For those of you at the Maderas Golf Club event back in March, you may remember that I was getting ready for a fitting the following week. Well, it rained, so it got moved, then we got hit Covid-19 closures. I finally got that fitting last week.

    Met up with Jim Pooler and Tijeras Creek for an iron fitting. For those of you in SoCal, Jim is great. After playing with some of the Titleist guys, they said keep an open mind about the fitting and the new T-Series.

    I went from AP2 (+1* strong) to T200. Both ballspeed and distance were improved.

    Really looking forward to getting these in my hands!

    Thanks for the update Scott and glad you are managing through all this. Hard to believe our event back in March was our last formal gathering. We will have crazy stories to share come next March. Stay safe and enjoy the new sticks!

    I made the mistake of hitting the T200's the other day. I have 718 AP2's, 1 degree strong as well. The 200's felt good and had good numbers. I had them put the $-Taper in it just to try. A true fitting would be nice just to see a variety of shafts.

    But it took me 14 years to get new irons, when it's time to upgrade again who knows what they will be called....
